    Candidiasis or yeast infection is a condition that develops due to overgrowth of Candida albicans (a type of fungus in the body). This fungus is found in the body in small quantities. However, due to some reasons, its level in the body increases, leading to fungal infections or yeast infections. There is a common misconception that yeast infection is found only in women.
Male yeast infection is common as yeast infection women. And the case of men, is clearly visible in the mouth (known as oral yeast infection or thrush) and genitals (known as penile yeast infection). Let’s take a look at yeast infection in men: causes, symptoms and treatment.
Causes of yeast infection in men
